Resources

If you're looking for information, you've come to the right place.  Use the links below to find information about leadership in NL and across the country.

If you've got information you'd like to share, please don't hesitate to pass it along!  Email your materials to valerieabbott@ncsd.ca and we'll post them here.

Websites:

Canadian Association of Student Activity Advisors - This site offers advice and information from CASAA.  They know leadership, so their site is a great place to go when you need material.

PSLC Documents:  many of us have hosted leadership conferences, and we're certainly no strangers to hosting leadership activities in our schools!  Feel free to learn from our experiences and check out the material below.

Session Ideas - here's a list of sessions from the 2005 conference at EVH.

Session Sheet - when you start lining up presenters, a sheet like this makes it easy to get information to your presenters, as well as find out what they need from you.

Sample Conference Agenda - This agenda can be used as a guideline for conference organizers.

Tips for Students - An info sheet for students.

Post-conference survey (Student version) - To help us improve our conferences from year to year, we like to get feedback.  This is a sample survey you can use after your conference.

Post-conference survey (Chaperone version) - Again, we try to improve!  This one's for teachers.

PSLC Committees - A list of committees formed to set up the conference.

Billeting Information - Billeting can be hard to set up, but these documents might help you to set up what you need.

Past Keynotes:  If you're looking for a good motivational speaker for your school, you might consider someone from this list.  These people have presented at PSLC before, and each of them has been a huge success (this is only a partial list of our keynotes - it's a work in progress!).
